We collect as little as we can. You can read every page of StakeRated without giving us anything, and the site sets no cookies.

Who we are
StakeRated is operated by Binared Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 11176824), registered office 82a James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, England, IP28 7DE. Binared Ltd is the controller of the personal data described here. To contact us about your data, use our contact form and choose “Privacy request”.
What we collect, and why
If you subscribe to the newsletter
- Your email address, to send you the newsletter.
- When you signed up, confirmed and (if you do) unsubscribed, and that you confirmed you are 18 or over — so we can show that you asked to receive it.
- Where on the site you signed up (for example “footer”, or the campaign link that brought you), and your country as reported by our hosting provider — never your IP address.
Our legal basis is your consent. Every email has an unsubscribe link; using it withdraws your consent straight away. We use double opt-in: nothing is sent until you click the link in the confirmation email.
If you use the contact form
We keep your name, email address, the topic and your message, plus your country, so we can reply. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering the people who write to us.
When you visit the site
Our hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without identifying you. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-preserving check that you’re not a bot, which also sets no tracking cookies. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website.
Cookies
StakeRated sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device, so there is no cookie banner.
Who we share it with
We never sell your data or share it with gambling operators or advertisers. We use these service providers, who process data only on our instructions:
- Cloudflare, Inc. — website hosting, the database that stores subscriber and contact details, bot protection and cookie-free analytics.
- Resend — sends our emails, including the newsletter, confirmation emails and contact-form messages to our inbox.
Both providers are based in the United States, so your data may be processed there. Where that happens it is protected by the UK’s approved safeguards, such as the International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU standard contractual clauses, or the UK–US data bridge.
How long we keep it
- Newsletter: while you’re subscribed. If you unsubscribe we keep only your email address and the date, so we never email you again by mistake. Ask us and we’ll delete that too.
- Unconfirmed signups: if you never click the confirmation link, we don’t email you again unless you sign up again.
- Contact messages: deleted automatically after 12 months.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to receive it in a portable format. You can withdraw consent at any time. Contact us through the contact form; we’ll reply within one month.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Age
StakeRated is for adults. The newsletter is only for people aged 18 or over, and we don’t knowingly collect data from anyone younger. If you believe a child has subscribed, tell us and we’ll delete their details.
Changes
If we change how we use your data, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. For significant changes we’ll tell newsletter subscribers by email.
